We inform investing partners on their forest. So, CO2N gives you feedback on:
We’ll provide progress reports including photos and videos. As we are active in Europe you can also easily visit your forest yourself.
We secure the transformation of provided funding by investing partners into a sustainable forest. At the same time we make all efforts to have our partners well informed about the evolution of the planted forest.
This is how we do this:
to contribute to Europe’s ambition to become carbon neutral by 2050
to support Europe to become more climate resilient
to contribute to Europe’s ambition to increase biodiversity
to secure high transparency as investing partners need to know where their forest is planted and have the possibility to verify for themselves.
to secure that forest growth is accompanied and results are real also over the medium and long-term

We have currently 2 projects available. Each project has a detailed design for the development of 150 hectares of forest. They are situated in Portugal as costs are lower than in the North. So we ‘get more forest for the same money’. We also stick to Portugal as working in other continents, like in Africa, is more difficult to implement, to follow up over the long term and to verify results.
